# Billing and invoices

## What the subscription page shows

**Settings → Organization → Subscription** states where your organization stands. [Open in Teamhood](https://app.teamhood.com/go/settings/subscription)

- **On a trial** — a Trial pill, the number of days left, and the date the trial ends.
- **As a customer** — an Active pill, the number of **Licenses**, and the date the subscription renews. An organization that Teamhood invoices outside Stripe sees the date it is **Paid through** instead.
- **Once the subscription has ended** — the date it ended, and the plan to renew. See [What happens when a subscription lapses](../what-happens-when-a-subscription-lapses/).

## The price

One plan, priced per user per month and billed **Monthly** or **Yearly**. The pricing card shows the current rate, and the checkout shows the VAT for your country before you pay. Prices exclude VAT.

## Billing details, card and invoices

A subscription billed through Stripe, by card or by emailed invoice, has a **Billing** section under the pricing card, shown to the members who may manage users.

- **Billing details** — the name, address, company number and VAT number printed on invoices. **Edit** changes them for the invoices that follow.
- **Payment method** — the card on file. **Update card** replaces it, and **Add card** adds one when none is on file. A subscription billed by invoice charges no card, so it offers neither.
- The invoice list — the invoices, each with its date, number, amount and status. **View** opens Stripe's copy, and **PDF** opens the PDF.

## A subscription Teamhood bills by invoice

Teamhood can bill a subscription by emailed invoice, for example for a custom agreement. Its **Billing** section shows the billing details and the invoices. Its button reads **Contact us**: the licenses, the billing period and cancellation go through Teamhood.

An organization that Teamhood still invoices outside Stripe has no Billing section. For a copy of an invoice, email `sales@teamhood.com`.
