List view
What a list view shows
Section titled “What a list view shows”A list view shows items as rows and fields as columns. Items that live inside other items appear as an indented tree.
Choose the columns and groups
Section titled “Choose the columns and groups”The gear button at the end of the header row opens the column list. Tick a column to show it, and drag to reorder.
Total float is one of the columns you can tick. It shows how many working days an item can finish later before its plan finishes later. A dash means float cannot be worked out, such as for an item with no dates. How dependency scheduling works explains how float is counted.
The toolbar’s Layout panel holds Group by, which takes one field or several.
When you group by a people field, a deleted user gets no group. An item whose only person in that field is a deleted user goes under Not set.
Set the depth
Section titled “Set the depth”The toolbar’s depth control names the level you read at. Press - and = to step shallower or deeper.
Narrow what you see
Section titled “Narrow what you see”Press / to focus the quick search, and Esc to clear it. Filters live in the toolbar’s Items panel.
A viewer who may edit the view builds a draft. Columns, grouping and filters stay in that draft until Save for everyone, and Discard drops it. A viewer who cannot edit the view keeps personal filters nobody else sees.
Add, open and move items
Section titled “Add, open and move items”Add an item with the add row at the end of the list, or press C to open the create form. The row reads + Add item, or + Add and the type name when the view allows one type only.
Click a row to open the item. Drag a row onto another item to move it under that item. Esc cancels a drag, and Ctrl+Z undoes the move.
Export the rows
Section titled “Export the rows”Export to CSV writes the visible columns in their configured order, and the rows as drawn.
